Out of the Archive conference and festival begins 23 June

Over at Faber & Faber's official blog, The Thought Fox, Peter Fifield reveals what you can expect from the upcoming Samuel Beckett conference and festival in York: 'The years following the centenary of Samuel Beckett’s birth have been more lively even than 2006 itself, as a conference and festival of the writer’s work at the University of York from 23-26 June brings home. The event, whose website can be seen at www.outofthearchive.com, draws on the current flush of ‘new’ and revised works by the Nobel prize-winner being published by Faber and elsewhere to examine the role of the literary archive in the academic and public spheres.'
